The Armor of God Vacation Bible School Program is designed to provide a quality VBS program to enrich the spiritual life of children. This web site makes available the program, including promotional material, downloadable teacher guides and student lesson plans, and even suggested crafts, music, and a week overview. The theme is drawn from Ephesians 6:10-17.

 

 

Why this theme?

In a world where secular institutions, television, movies, and popular music all offer temptations that blur what God promises His people, there is a need for children to understand how to protect their faith. In Proverbs 22:6 we are commanded to train up a child "in the way they should go." The Armor of God theme allows parents and teachers to do just this, helping children to understand how to protect their faith and put on the "full armor of God" each day. This particular series is designed for Pre K though 6th grade.

 

"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
